Fully-Funded NVQs

Club Wellgate celebrates achievements inside and outside of the workplace! 

Kay - Millfield, Folkestone

Kay ’s colleagues describe her as a ‘superstar. ’ Currently Kay works as the cook at Millfield but has previously worked in a domestic role and as a member of the care team. She can work effectively across all roles, with empathy and warmth. She covers the service at short notice, creates new menu’s promoting healthy eating and loves preparing everything for a party!

Lisa - Wade Court, Stoke

Congratulations to our Team Player of The North, Lisa from Wade Court! Lisa shows genuine care for our tenants and provides support that is person centred and focused on promoting individual choices. All the tenants at Wade Court appreciate Lisas work, she is a valued member of the staff team who always offers to help others when needed. Lisa even comes in for activities on her day off!

Debbie - Sandgate, Folkestone

Debbie has worked at Sandgate Manor for many years but still retains such a positive and inspiring approach to everything that she does. Her passion for supporting our residents to have more fulfilling lives is infectious and she exhibits warmth and humour in her role making the service a better place to live and work. Thank you for all of your hard work Debbie!

The Grafton, Worksop

The team at The Grafton won the quarterly award for their tremendous efforts since the service opened. The service is now fully occupied and the team are helping each tenant live as independently as possible!

Vikki - Millfield, Folkestone

Vikki from Millfield bravely completed a sky dive to raise money for MNP/Wellgate. She enjoyed the adrenaline rush and is keen to do more challenges! Well done Vikki - we admire your bravery!

Jasmine - Zenith, Worksop

Community care officer; 'I had the pleasure of meeting Jasmine at my visit. To support TA’s communication, Jasmine confidently used MAKATON. This was some of the best support I’ve ever witnessed.

Terry & Juliet - The Lodge, Bexhill

We are incredibly proud of Terry and Juliet for running the race for life, for Juliet's niece, Eliza who has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia meaning treatment that will last just over 2 years.

Sophie - Old Printers, Sandbach

Congratulations to Sophie, Deputy Manager in Sandbach for receiving the Outstanding Team Player of the Quarter! Sophie has since been promoted to Service Manager, continuing her great work at Wellgate!

Megan - Sandgate, Folkestone

Megan is the wonderful chef at Sandgate, providing home cooked meals to the 21 residents! We recently had an unannounced food hygiene inspection at the service and were awarded 5 stars! Well done Megan!
