You may have noticed a recent name change. Zenith House is now Brickyard Court.

Once a bustling police station in the heart of Worksop, Brickyard Court has been transformed into a vibrant supported living community. The service includes eight self-contained apartments and two shared physical and sensory impairment units, offering flexible, person-centred support in a safe and welcoming environment.

A message from Jenna, Service Manager

“I recently joined Wellgate and have loved the opportunity to help shape Brickyard Court’s next chapter. It’s been exciting to be part of positive change, not just for the people we support, but for the team too. There’s a real opportunity here to build something brilliant.

Brickyard Court is driven by the people who live here. Being right in the centre of Worksop means we can use the local community to help tenants explore new interests, build confidence and feel comfortable in their individuality.

We’ve also been working on refreshing and improving the service, creating a more welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. It’s about raising standards, strengthening what we already do well, and making sure we’re providing the best possible support.

The team has high morale and a strong sense of openness. Everyone brings their own ideas and experience, and we’ve quickly built a confident, flexible group who adapt well and genuinely care about the difference we make each day.

Our focus is simple. Support people to see progress while staying true to who they are. The challenge we take on daily is making sure each person receives the support they deserve.”

And a final fun fact. Brickyard Court has had three names over the years. The Old Police Station, Zenith House and now Brickyard Court. A building with a long history of serving the local community, and now starting a fresh and positive new chapter.
